libiconv-hook-dev software package provides header files of libiconv-hook, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libiconv-hook-dev
libiconv-hook-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libiconv-hook-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libiconv-hook-dev *
You will get with libiconv-hook-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
